Lake Clark National Park

Crescent Lake

(August 15th – September 25th)
Few destinations in Alaska have the combination of fishing opportunity and unequaled vistas in the same location. Crescent Lake is surrounded with 360 degree views that challenge your imagination. Mt. Redoubt volcano is a short distance away illuminating the landscape with its snow covered peaks and massive presence. Silver Salmon begin to return to the Crescent River by mid August. Bear viewing is at its height during the Silver run. We can build the day around your interests, splitting time chasing Silvers and searching for Bears or stay focused on one or the the other. Crescent River can provide an excellent Fly Fishing opportunities. Please let us know in advance if you specifically want to fly fish. We always suggest you bring your own fly rod and reel, but with advance notice we can provide fly gear. We always provide spinning gear.
