West Side Cook Inlet

(June 15th – August 20th)
This is a great choice for those who want to get the most out of a combination fly out excursion. Take a flight-seeing and glacier tour and arrive at Big River Lakes in Redoubt Bay Critical Habitat Area where you step off the float plane onto our boats and head to the fishing hole. The outflow of  Wolverine Creek is where the Sockeye Salmon congregate before heading up the creek to spawn. Brown (Grizzly) and Black bears are often seen fishing here and frequent the area. This is great for families with young children and first time visitors to Alaska who want to have a chance at catching a salmon and seeing bears. When time permits we love to celebrate with the day with a fresh salmon bake!
